Green People Organic Babies Baby Wash/ Shampoo and Salve Review*

I'm not sure whether I have mentioned it on here before but Thomas has baby eczema, we were told a couple of months ago now and the doctor prescribed us some paraffin cream to apply to his body and some Oilatum junior to use in his bath and some shampoo for his cradle cap but that was a complete load of rubbish and made his head worse!. Now they are working but not brilliantly so I was happy to try other products to see if they would help better.

Now for Thomas's skin I want to only use organic and natural products I obviously don't want to use harsh products because his skin is sensitive enough as it is. That is what I love about all of their products are organic and natural.

I was sent some organic baby wash and shampoo and some organic soothing baby salve. So I was looking forward to seeing whether these would actually make a difference.

We use this baby salve before getting dressed for bed as it has a gorgeous relaxing lavender scent. I find my self drifting off when I'm rubbing it on to Thomas. The salve contains shea butter, hemp, beeswax, calendula and lavender. It can be used all over babies body and scalp, I would keep it away from hands though especially if you have a baby like Thomas who has forever got their hands in their mouth. It doesn't contain any of the nasties such as Parabens, Lanolin, phthalates, artificial perfumes, petrochemicals and colourants and SLS so it is lovely and gentle for your babies skin. It can also be used by adults too if you suffer with eczema or psoriasis. Plus mums it can also be used as nipple cream.

It is like a really thick grease so when applying it you do need to leave it a while to be soaked up but afterwards Thomas's skin feels so soft.
I have also been using it on Thomas's head and after just two applications to his head it's really starting to work and I can already notice a difference. I just apply it to his scalp and massage it in over night and then rinse it out in the bath.

This wash is lovely and gentle and none drying, I found that Johnson's baby wash was too drying on Thomas's skin so it's great to find one that doesn't dry his skin out anymore than it already is.. Again this is free of all the nasties and perfect for those of you who may suffer with eczema or psoriasis

You can also get this baby wash and shampoo in different scents such as lavender and chamomile perfect to bedtime baths to get your baby relaxed and ready for a snooze. You can find them Here

These are a great duo to have if your baby has dry skin and I can't recommend the salve enough I am really impressed with that especially for the cradle cap. The baby salve retails for £9.70 for a 100ml tube which I would definitely repurchase as it helps with so many different things. The baby wash is £6.89 for 150ml which again I think it's a good price and I would rather buy this that something cheaper like Johnsons which does more harm than good.
